It's like they know me and are actively trying to screw with my football id

Daily News:

GLENDALE, Ariz. - It's all well and good for ESPN's Chris Mortensen to report that the Baltimore Ravens "are seriously considering" trading for Donovan McNabb, but for that to actually happen the Eagles would have to want to trade him. Coach Andy Reid and other Eagles sources repeatedly have said that McNabb will be the team's quarterback in 2008.

Of course, there is always the chance that a team could make an offer so lucrative the Eagles would have to consider it. And Baltimore's long-rumored interest takes on an additional dimension, now that former Eagles assistant John Harbaugh is the team's head coach.

All anyone in Baltimore complains about is the age and/or malaise infecting the Ravens' quarterback position. So here's their potential solution: Making some sort of play (that will inevitably involve coughing up the eighth overall pick in '08 draft) for Donovan McNabb, who is about a sack and a half away from becoming the Matthau to Steve McNair's Lemmon. Newsome disputes the whole thing, but still...argh.
